It is a collinear array of 3 symmetrical dipoles which forms non-directional radiation in the horizontal plane.

 

 

 

Balancing matching device provides symmetric power supply of dipole arms, so that maximum radiation in the vertical plane is directed along the horizon. Balancing matching device operates in the mode of DC short circuit that provides attenuation of signals with frequencies below 1 MHz by more than 40 dB.
